This Privacy Policy describes how we process your information, this includes personal data and cookies.

General information

  1. This policy applies to the Web Site, which is accessible via url: www.conpeek.com
  2. The Operator of the Site and the Administrator of personal data is: Conpeek Sp. z o. o. ul. Domaniewska 47/10 02-672 Warsaw.
  3. The Operator is also the Administrator of your voluntarily provided personal data on the Site.
  4. The Site uses personal data for the following purposes:
    • Conducting online chat-type conversations
    • Handling of enquiries via a form
    • Presentation of the offer or information
  5. The Site obtains personal information about users and their actions in the following way:
    1. Through voluntarily entered data in the forms, which are entered into the Operator’s systems.
    2. By storing cookies in the users’ devices.

Selected data protection methods applied by the Operator

  1. The places where you log in and enter your personal data are protected in the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This way, the personal and login data entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the intended server.
  2. The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
  3. An important element of data protection is regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of programming components.

Your rights and additional information about the use of your data

  1. 1. In some situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary to perform the agreement concluded with you or to fulfill the obligations imposed on the Administrator. This applies to such groups of recipients:
    • persons authorized by us, employees and associates who must have the access to personal data in order to perform their duties,
    • hosting companies,
    • mailing companies,
    • SMS handling companies,
    • companies with which the Administrator cooperates in the field of its own marketing,
    • couriers,
    • insurance companies,
    • law firms and debt collectors,
    • banks,
    • payment processors,
    • public authorities.
  2. Your personal data is processed by the Administrator no longer than it is necessary to perform the operations related to it which are specified in separate regulations (e.g. on accounting). With regard to marketing information, your data will not be processed for more than 3 years.
  3. You have the right to request from the Administrator the following:
    • to access your personal data,
    • to correct it,
    • to remove it,
    • to restrict its processing,
    • to transfer it.
  4. You have the right to object to the processing indicated in point 3.3 c) above in relation to the processing of personal data for the purpose of performing legally justified interests pursued by the Administrator, including profiling, and the right to object cannot be exercised if there are valid legally justified grounds for the processing, interests, rights and freedoms that prevail over you, in particular the determination, investigation or defence of claims.
  5. A complaint against the Administrator’s actions may be lodged with the Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary, but it is necessary to use the Site.
  7. You may be subject to actions involving automated decision making, including profiling, in order to provide services under the concluded contract and to conduct direct marketing by the Administrator.
  8. Your personal data will not be transferred to third-party countries within the meaning of the protection of personal data. This means that we do not send them out of the European Union.

Information in the forms

    1. The service collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if provided.
    2. The Site can store information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
    3. The Site may, in some cases, save information to facilitate the linking of data in the form with the e-mail address of the user filling in the form. In this case, the user’s e-mail address appears inside the url of the page containing the form.
    4. The data provided in the form are processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a specific form, e.g. in order to process a service ticket or commercial contact, registration of services, etc. Each time the context and the description of the form in a clear way inform about its purpose.
    5. Personal data collected by Conpeek via the Website are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/WE (General Data Protection Regulation), also called the GDPR.
    6. Conpeek takes special care to respect the privacy of Users visiting the Website.
      • 6.1 Type of data processed, purposes and legal basis
      1. Conpeek collects information about natural persons carrying out legal actions not directly related to their activities, natural persons conducting business or professional activities on their own behalf, and natural persons representing legal persons or organizational units which are not legal persons, to whom the law grants legal capacity, conducting activities on their own behalf business or professional, hereinafter collectively referred to as Users.
      2. Users’ personal data is collected in the case of: a) subscription to an information newsletter (Newsletter) in order to perform a contract the subject of which is an electronic service. Legal basis – consent of the data subject to perform the contract for the provision of the Newsletter service (art.6 par.1 lit.a RODO) b) using the contact form service to perform an electronic contract. Legal basis: the necessity to perform the contract for the provision of the contact form service (art.6 par.1 lit.b RODO)
      3. When using the Newsletter service, the User provides the following data: a) e-mail adress

    1. When using the Website, additional information may be downloaded, in particular: the IP address assigned to the User’s computer or the external IP address of the Internet provider, domain name, type of browser, access time, type of operating system.
    2. Navigation data may also be collected from Users, including information about links and references in which they decide to click or other activities undertaken on our Website.Legal basis –legitimate interest (art.6 par.1 lit.f RODO), consisting in facilitating the use of electronic services and improving the functionality of these services.
    3. In order to determine, assert and enforce claims, certain personal data provided by the User may be processed as part of using the functionality on the Website, such as: name, surname, data regarding the use of services, if the claims result from the manner in which the User uses the services, other data necessary to prove the existence of the claim, including the extent of the damage suffered. Legal basis – legitimate interest (art.6 par.1 lit.f RODO), consisting in the determination, investigation and enforcement of claims, as well as defense against claims in proceedings before courts and other state authorities.
    4.  The transfer of personal data to Businessweb is voluntary, in connection with concluded sales contracts or the provision of services via the Website.
    • 6.2 Who is the data shared or entrusted to and how long is it stored?
    1. The User’s personal data is transferred to service providers that Conpeek uses when running the Website. Service providers to whom personal data are transferred, depending on contractual arrangements and circumstances, or are subject to Conpeek’s instructions as to the purposes and methods of processing this data (processors) or determine the purposes and methods of their processing (administrators).
      a) Processing entities. Conpeek uses suppliers that process personal data only on Conpeek’s instructions. These include providers of hosting services, accounting services, providing marketing systems, systems for analyzing traffic on the Website, systems for analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
      b) Administrators. Conpeek uses suppliers who do not act only on instructions and set the purposes and ways of using Users’ personal data themselves. They provide electronic and banking payment services.
    2.  Location.Service providers are based mainly in Poland and other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA).
    3. Users’ personal data is stored:
      a) If the basis for the processing of personal data is consent, then the User’s personal data are processed by Conpeek until the consent is revoked, and after revoking the consent for a period of time corresponding to the limitation period of claims that Conpeek may raise and which may be raised against him. Unless a special provision provides otherwise, the limitation period is ten years, and for claims for periodic benefits and claims related to business activity – three years.
      b) If the basis for data processing is the performance of the contract, then the User’s personal data is processed by Conpeek as long as it is necessary to perform the contract, and after that time for the period corresponding to the period of limitation of claims. Unless a special provision provides otherwise, the limitation period is ten years, and for claims for periodic benefits and claims related to business activity – three years.
    4. Navigation data can be used to provide Users with better service, statistical data analysis and adapt the Website to Users’ preferences, as well as to administer the Website.
    5. In the event that the User subscribes to the newsletter (Newsletter) to his email address, Conpeek will send electronic messages containing commercial information about promotions and new products available on the Website.
    6. In the event of a request, Conpeek provides personal data to authorized state authorities, in particular organizational units of the Prosecutor’s Office, the Police, the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, the President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection or the President of the Office of Electronic Communications.

The Administrator’s logs

  1. Information about the behavior of users on the Site may be subject to logging. This data is used to administer the Site.

Relevant marketing techniques

  1. The operator uses statistical analysis of the website activity through Google Analytics (Google Inc. with its registered office in the USA). The Operator does not transfer personal data to the operator of the said service, but only the data rendered anonymous. The service is based on the use of cookies in the user’s device. With regard to the information on user preferences collected by Google’s advertising network, the user may view and edit the information resulting from cookies using the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
  2. The Operator uses remarketing techniques, which allow to adjust advertising messages to the user’s behaviour on the website, which may give the illusion that the user’s personal data is used to track the user, but in practice no personal data is transferred from the Operator to the advertising operators. The technological prerequisite for this is that cookies are enabled.
  3. The operator uses the Facebook Pixel. This technology causes Facebook (Facebook Inc. with its registered office in the USA) to know that a person registered on Facebook is using the Site. In this case, the Operator relies on data for which is the administrator, the Operator does not transfer any additional personal data from itself to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies in the user’s device.
  4. The Operator applies the solution automating the operation of the Site in relation to users, e.g. a one that can send an e-mail to the user after visiting a specific subpage, provided that he has agreed to receive commercial correspondence from the Operator.

Information on cookie files

  1. The Site uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in devices of Site Users and are intended to be used on the Site’s web pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the length of time they are stored on a device and a unique number.
  3. The entity placing cookies on devices of Service Users and accessing them is the Site Operator.
  4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
    1. maintaining of the Site user session (after logging in), thanks to which the Site user does not have to re-enter login and password on every subpage of the Site.
    2. achieving the objectives set out above under ” Relevant marketing techniques”

Session cookies are temporary files that are stored in the User’s device until the User logs out, leaves the website or switches off the software (web browser). Cookies placed in a device of Service User may also be used by entities cooperating with the Site Operator, in particular it concerns those companies: Google (Google Inc. with its registered office in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc. with its registered office in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc. with its registered office in the USA).
